Gender Studies 101 - course production

I organized and ran a Gender Studies course, which introduced the topics of feminism and gender studies in an interdisciplinary manner. Over 4 months, the participants and I, explored themes such as intersectionality, capitalism and post-colonialism, gender, sexuality and race, and disability studies. The course was held online, with both practical and theoretical sections to meet the needs of everyone.

The course was adapted to the group's skills, offering insights for those new to feminism and gender studies, as well as for those with more advanced knowledge.

The goal of the course was to raise awareness about these topics, and especially to explore new methods of learning and delving into subjects that concern us intimately, in a collective way.

My teaching method was based on mutual care, attention to others' and one's own needs, and the willingness to unlearn, which is the process of questioning and relearning knowledge systems about gender, diversity, sexuality, power, and gender roles that we have absorbed since childhood.
